Above are a couple of shots of the
Elton Courir during a charge. The Mardi Gras make their way through a strip of woods and
then emerge into an open area where they charge toward a farmer's home. The other picture
shows a short charge toward a convenience store on the Coushatta Indian Reservation. This other pictures on this page all depict the horseplay in which the Mardi
Gras try to take away the burlap whips from the capitaine and co-capitaines.
